VENT PROTECTOR
VENT PROTECTOR
The Adjustable Male Elbow is a 90-degree tube fitting designed to connect tubing to female-threaded ports at an angle, with the added flexibility of orientation adjustment during installation. One end features a METALOK-compatible compression fitting, while the other end includes a male thread (typically NPT, BSPT, or BSPP) with a lock nut and straight-thread design that allows the elbow to be precisely positioned before tightening. This fitting is ideal for systems requiring directional control, compact layout, and high sealing integrity. Manufactured from corrosion-resistant materials like Stainless Steel (SS), Brass, Duplex, Monel, and Hastelloy, it is available in sizes from 1/8” to 2” and 3mm to 50mm.
- Heavy-duty cylindrical body: Designed to withstand high pressure and temperature.
- Multiple port configurations: Available in 2-port, 3-port, or 4-port designs for flexible installation.
- Standard connection types: NPT threaded, socket weld, butt weld, or flanged ends.
- Material options: Carbon steel, SS304, SS316, or alloy steel for corrosion resistance.
- Mountable in vertical or horizontal orientation: Based on process requirements.
- Optional drain and vent ports: For maintenance and pressure relief.
- Protects instruments from direct exposure to high-temperature steam or gas.
- Ensures accurate pressure and differential pressure measurements by maintaining a stable condensate level.
- Reduces damage and wear on impulse lines and sensors.
- Minimizes the risk of flashing and instrumentation failure.
- Improves safety and reliability in steam and high-temperature fluid systems.
- Simplifies maintenance through accessible drain and vent points.
