A Needle Valve (OD x OD) features tube-end connections on both inlet and outlet sides, specifically designed for direct connection to tubing rather than threaded pipe. The “OD x OD” refers to Outer Diameter x Outer Diameter tube fittings, commonly used in instrumentation and process systems that require leak-free, high-integrity connections without the use of thread sealants or welding.
This valve is ideal for precision control in systems handling gases, liquids, and steam, and is commonly used in industries like oil & gas, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, food processing, and power generation.
- End connections: Tube OD x Tube OD with double ferrule (compression-type) or single ferrule design.
- Sizes available: 1/8″ to 1″, 6mm to 25mm OD tubing.
