MALE ELBOW SOCKET WELD
The Male Elbow – Socket Weld is a 90-degree elbow fitting designed to connect a welded tube or pipe to a female-threaded port at a right angle. One end is a socket weld connection, allowing secure fusion with pipes or tubes, while the other end features a male thread—commonly NPT—for direct connection to threaded components. This design provides a high-integrity, permanent welded joint combined with a threaded interface for flexibility in system layout. Ideal for high-pressure, high-temperature, or corrosive applications, this fitting is widely used in process piping, chemical plants, refineries, and instrumentation systems. It is available in sizes from 1/8” to 2” and 3mm to 50mm, and is made from corrosion-resistant materials like Stainless Steel (SS), Brass, Duplex, Monel, and Hastelloy.
