INTEGRAL DBB VALVE
INTEGRAL DBB VALVE
An Integral Double Block and Bleed (DBB) Valve is a compact, high-integrity valve assembly that combines two isolation (block) valves and one bleed valve into a single, integrated body. This design is used for positive isolation of process media and safe depressurization between the two isolation points, which is crucial during maintenance, calibration, or instrument removal. Unlike traditional setups involving multiple valves and fittings, the integral DBB valve offers a space-saving and leak-reducing solution ideal for high-pressure, high-temperature, and hazardous applications—particularly in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, and offshore environments.
- Two independent isolation valves and one central bleed valve in one body.
- Compact design minimizes weight, space, and leak paths.
- Available in needle–needle–needle or ball–needle–needle configurations.
- Fire-safe, anti-blowout stem, and anti-static features for high safety standards.
- Pressure ratings up to 10,000 psi (690 bar) and beyond.
- Wide material options: Stainless steel, duplex, Monel, Hastelloy, etc.
- Compliance with API, ASME, and ISO standards where required.
- Ensures true double isolation with safe cavity venting.
- Reduces installation time and material cost by replacing multiple valves and fittings.
- Minimizes potential leak points for improved environmental and operational safety.
- Ideal for tight spaces, especially on offshore platforms and compact skids.
- Improves reliability and performance in critical service applications.
