The Hex Long Nipple – NPT (Ref. 5404L) is a precision-machined threaded fitting designed to connect two female NPT-threaded components where extended length is required. Featuring a central hexagonal section, it allows easy tightening with a standard wrench while providing extra pipe length for system flexibility, insulation clearance, or special installation requirements.
Manufactured to high standards, this long version of the standard hex nipple comes with NPT male threads (ANSI B1.20.1) on both ends and is available in sizes ranging from 1/8” to 2” and 3mm to 50mm. Constructed from a wide range of durable materials including Stainless Steel, Brass, Duplex, Monel, and Hastelloy, the Hex Long Nipple is ideal for use in harsh industrial environments such as oil & gas, chemical processing, marine, power generation, and instrumentation systems.
