The Front Ferrule is a critical sealing component in a two-ferrule tube fitting system. Positioned between the tube and the fitting body, it is designed to create a strong mechanical grip on the tube and form a leak-tight seal when compressed by the Nut. As the Nut is tightened, the Front Ferrule is driven forward into the fitting body, wedging between the tube and the body to create a secure, pressure-resistant seal. Precision-engineered for METALOK-type compression fittings, the Front Ferrule is available in sizes from 1/8” to 2” and 3mm to 50mm, and is made from high-strength, corrosion-resistant materials such as Stainless Steel (SS), Brass, Duplex, Monel, and Hastelloy.
