The 2-Way Remote Mount Valve (Type 2) is a specialized isolation valve engineered for remote pressure measurement systems, where direct mounting of instruments is not suitable. Unlike Type 1, Type 2 offers enhanced accessibility and features such as panel or bracket mounting, making it ideal for instrument enclosures, control rooms, or remote hook-up installations. This valve is widely used in oil & gas fields, petrochemical facilities, refineries, offshore rigs, and power plants for isolating pressure instruments during calibration, maintenance, or emergency operations.
- 2-Port Configuration: One process inlet, One outlet to instrument tubing or fittings
- End Connections: Female NPT (or BSP) on both ports – typically 1/4″ or 1/2″
- Mounting Options: Remote wall or panel mounting using brackets or clips
